Sadly, my hope that The Singing News would add something worthwhile to make their subscription service attractive is apparently not to be. The areas SN is going to require you to pay to see are:

The Unthanks should be jumping for joy over this. It’s not often that a competitor dumps customers in your lap. Maybe they’re trying to get rid of so many visitors so they don’t crash the next time a big story hits. Who knows.
