New links
(Note to L.S., my favorite SG DJ. I didn't mean to lie when I said I'd write more often, I've just been a bum.)
There are a few new sites I've ran into lately that you may have missed.
Allison Lynn : A singer from Canada who recently began chronicling her stint at Stamps-Baxter School of Music. A cool day-by-day, blow-by-blow account of her time there. I was also drawn to the name of her blog, Adventures of a Starving Artist. Give her a visit.
Wayne: After smiling at Allison’s blog’s name, Wayne made me wince with his. Simon Cowell of SG Music doesn’t give me a lot of hope after the first post, but make up your own mind.
Martin Roth: A professional writer (As if one wasn’t enough…) I found interesting for a number of reasons. Most obvious is he’s an Australian. Seems to be a mixture of summarizing other blogs and adding his own content. I hope he drifts more towards the latter. Telling me what Avery said isn’t nearly as interesting as telling me what you think about what Avery said. Martin chose a safe name, Southern Gospel Beat. I hope this site has legs. (Martin, provide an rss feed.) I like this site. (And not just because he called me “Expert and entertaining”) And for crying out loud, you’re the third person to comment on my blue plaid shirt. Are you all blind? It’s GREEN. Jeez.
